Position: Engineering Manager – Hyatt Place

You will assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Engineering Manager for managing engineering operations and coordinating for the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departments.
Qualifications
- Supervises the repair, maintenance and engineering operations according to the departmental standards.
- Modifies installations to minimize waste of material and provide access for future maintenance.
- Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes.
- Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.
- Performs repairs and maintenance work to all guest rooms, public and service areas of the hotel to ensure they are well maintained.
- Regularly inspects the entire building with particular attention on defective or deficient life safety features and to observe closely the condition of all operating equipment.
- Specific attention must be placed on areas of difficult access.
