We are hiring an Engineering Manager – Electrical in Tampa, FL.
The Engineering Manager – Electrical will lead a team of engineers and designers while managing workload responsibilities and performing electrical design work on assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor engineering teams
• Manage project workload and team allocation
• Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency generation, fire alarm, and security systems
• Coordinate BIM/Revit MEP drawings across all project phases
• Perform construction administration tasks including site observations and shop drawing review
• Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, contractors, and code officials
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management
Qualifications:
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• 10+ years of electrical engineering management and commercial building design experience
• 7+ years leading multi-discipline engineering teams
• Experience with aviation, healthcare, hospitality, higher education, entertainment, or governmental facilities preferred
• Revit MEP proficiency required
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
