POSITION SUMMARY
Leads a multidisciplinary team of Electrical Engineers in the design, development, and lifecycle management of high-density liquid cooling systems for mission-critical data center environments. Accountable for delivering electrically robust, reliable, and scalable products that meet stringent performance, quality, and safety requirements.
Provides technical and operational leadership across global electrical design, systems integration, validation, and manufacturing support. Ensures global electrical system integrity, compliance, and documentation, while driving continuous improvement through design-for-manufacture, lean principles, and innovation.
Partners cross-functionally with operations, quality, and commercial teams to proactively resolve electrical and system-level challenges, improve efficiency, and accelerate time-to-market. Acts as a key interface to leadership, providing visibility on engineering performance, risks, and technical priorities.
Operates effectively in a global, matrixed environment, leading distributed teams with a focus on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requires strong organizational skills, technical depth in electrical engineering, and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
Drive global governance for leading high density liquid cooling products, ensuring rigorous coordination and execution of electrical standards (UL, CSA, CE) across all hardware design and manufacturing operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a global multidisciplinary electrical engineering team supporting the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of high-density liquid cooling solutions.
- Provide day-to-day technical and operational leadership across product development, systems integration, sustaining engineering, and manufacturing support.
- Drive execution of design validation, testing, and configuration control processes to ensure product performance, quality, and reliability.
- Partner with operations and quality teams to support production, resolve technical issues, and maintain delivery, safety, and performance targets.
- Oversee new product introduction (NPI), product transfers, and change management activities, including global manufacturing alignment and buy vs. make decisions.
- Review and approve engineering designs, documentation, and deviations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to standards.
- Establish and maintain robust engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials, routings, and process flows.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to optimize throughput, yield, and space utilization while reducing cost.
- Lead capital planning and equipment strategy, including justification, acquisition, and implementation of new tools, machinery, and technologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, and leadership teams to align engineering priorities with customer and business needs.
- Monitor performance metrics and operational trends, implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.
- Lead development of electrical engineering standards for high density liquid cooling and drive these standards to the global engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of safe and efficient operations.
- Develop team capability through hiring, coaching, performance management, and training program oversight.
- Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership on engineering performance, risks, and project status.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of four (5) year of experience in a management role.
- Minimum of six (10) years of experience (total) in electrical engineering or related fields, preferably in Data Center, Industrial, Automotive, Telecommunications, or Electrical Power with a strong focus on new product introduction (NPI), and product manufacturing.
- Fluency in English (read, write, and speak).
- Experience with electrical design and drafting tools, such as AutoCAD Electrical, CREO 4.0 or similar.
- Knowledge of NEC (NFPA79), UL 508A/SB and/or UL Standards for HVAC systems
- Knowledge and proficiency in Design for Six Sigma, and other quality tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MRP or enterprise systems in engineering or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, PCB design, power electronics, and system integration.
- Knowledge of UL60335-2-40 or equivalent CSA/UL standards
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing, validation, and compliance standards.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Fabrication or other technical area. Desirable master’s degree in business. Manufacturing and/or Technology.
