About the Job
We seek a highly capable and self-driven Engineering Project Manager to lead system and component development from design to production. This role spans hardware, software, and avionics, and requires a mix of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. You will work with engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects meet technical, schedule, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage system and component development from concept through manufacturing, integration, and testing.
- Oversee suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring technical and schedule goals.
- Coordinate cross-domain development across mechanical, electrical, software, and avionics disciplines.
- Interpret technical data (FEM, CFD, datasheets) and facilitate system-level integration.
- Supervise prototyping, simulation, and testing activities, and validate designs against requirements.
- Adapt quickly, acquiring new technical knowledge as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in hardware development projects (aviation, aerospace, automotive, robotics).
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with software and/or avionics development processes — an advantage.
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and prototyping/testing.
- Proficiency in engineering tools (CAD, ERP, technical analysis).
- Fluent in English with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
