Engineering Team Lead – Hydraulics Summary:
Midwest Recruiters is seeking an experienced engineer with a background in designing hydraulic components. As an Engineering Team Lead – Hydraulics, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving hydraulic systems and components. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful implementation of hydraulic solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in 3D Modelling (Solidworks, Pro/E, Inventor, etc.), the ability to interpret and develop hydraulics schematics, and prior experience managing others (designers/drafters).
Engineering Team Lead – Hydraulics Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic systems and components for various applications
- Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize hydraulic system performance
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulic system issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic systems
- Create detailed technical documentation including specifications, drawings, and reports
- Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hydraulic engineering technologies
Engineering Team Lead – Hydraulics Requirements:
- 5+ years of 3D Modeling design experience (Solidworks, Pro/E, Creo, Inventor, etc.)
- 3+ years of Hydraulics experience or exposure – ability to interpret and develop schematics
- 3+ years of prior management/supervision/mentorship experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed as this position interfaces with internal/external customers, and cross-functional teams within the organization
