Job Title: Estimation Engineer – Hardscape
Summary
We are seeking an Estimation Engineer – Hardscape to support tendering and cost estimation for landscape and construction projects. The role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, identifying project risks, and supporting commercial and technical decision-making throughout the tendering process. Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for hardscape and landscape projects
- Analyze project scope, technical requirements, and commercial risks
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for technical clarifications
- Prepare material, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor cost analysis
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and approved vendors
- Support pre-tender meetings, technical discussions, and site visits
- Review project variations, contract changes, and cost updates
- Prepare tender submissions and supporting commercial documentation
- Provide technical handover and budget clarification to project teams after award
- Support design teams with technical inputs, layouts, and specifications
- Monitor estimation accuracy and maintain cost databases
- Mentor junior estimation engineers and support team development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in estimation or tendering
- Experience in hardscape, landscape, or construction projects
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender analysis
- Experience with vendors, subcontractors, and material pricing
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tenders
Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of construction contracts, standards, and tendering procedures
