Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for fit-out, joinery, and interior projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to determine project requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for joinery, metal works, finishes, ceilings, flooring, and related fit-out works.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare value engineering proposals and cost-saving recommendations where applicable.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and project teams during tendering and execution stages.
- Analyze project risks, material specifications, and construction methodologies from a commercial perspective.
- Maintain updated cost databases, supplier records, and pricing benchmarks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Fit-Out, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in estimation for fit-out, joinery, and interior works within the UAE market.
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing, fit-out materials, finishes, and execution methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, joinery, and shop drawings.
- Experience in pricing custom joinery, loose furniture, metal works, and high-end interior finishes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & AutoCAD
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines efficiently.
