We are looking for an Explosives Production Technologist to join our growing team. The person in this role will be responsible for setting up, organizing, and optimizing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and smooth operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve production processes and workflows
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions and specifications
- Analyze production operations and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve technical issue
- Support the introduction of new products and technologies into production
- Monitor process performance and suggest optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Participate in commissioning and start-up of new production lines and equipment
- Ensure compliance with NATO STANAG, AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 standards in production processes
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience in a production/technological role (experience as a production technologist is an advantage)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to structure them efficiently
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create clear and precise technical documentation
- Good computer skills (MS Office, CAD or other process planning tools)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in defense industry or high-risk/chemical production is an advantage
- Familiarity with explosives safety requirements and regulatory compliance is a plus
