Job Title: Facility Management Surveyor / Estimator
Position Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
SUMMARY: The Facility Management Surveyor / Estimator is responsible for conducting site surveys, analyzing client requirements, developing technical solutions, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting tender submissions for integrated Facility Management projects. The role combines technical surveying with commercial estimating to produce competitive and compliant proposals.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct detailed site surveys for Facility Management opportunities
- Assess building assets, systems and maintenance requirements
- Develop technical solutions aligned with client requirements
- Prepare manpower models, asset registers and maintenance strategies
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, subcontractors, consumables and equipment
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors
- Analyze tender documents and identify commercial and technical risks
- Participate in technical clarification meetings and site visits
- Prepare pricing schedules and technical submissions
- Support Business Development during client presentations
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure practical service delivery models.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Facilities Management
- Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, PMP or equivalent are preferred
- Strong knowledge of CAFM systems and FM service delivery
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5–8 years of experience in Facility Management estimating, surveying or technical sales
- Experience with integrated FM tenders within Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
