Role Description The Furniture Manufacturing Expert / 3 is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end furniture manufacturing processes, from interpreting technical designs and specifications to guiding production activities on the factory floor. Daily tasks include optimizing manufacturing workflows, monitoring quality standards, coordinating with engineering and operations teams, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements. The Furniture Manufacturing Expert / 3 will provide hands-on training and coaching to production staff, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, durability, and design integrity. The role also involves clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders to align production output with project timelines and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing skills, with experience in furniture production processes, materials, and tooling.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing Operations expertise, including workflow optimization, quality control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide clear guidance to production staff and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Training capabilities, including mentoring technicians, developing standard operating procedures, and supporting skill development on the shop floor.
- Relevant qualifications such as a technical diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience with CAD drawings, production planning software, and lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is preferred.
- Knowledge of regional and international furniture manufacturing standards and familiarity with modern machinery and equipment is beneficial.
