SENTRA OOD is а system integration company, expanding its activities in geotechnical, environmental, and structural monitoring and is currently looking for an engineer to join our team.
The role involves delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service of specialized geotechnical monitoring equipment.
Our solutions are applied in monitoring projects for dams, landslides, tunnels, bridges, buildings, excavations, roads, mining sites, and other infrastructure assets.
Main Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain sensors, data loggers, communication equipment, and power supply systems.
- Participate in the implementation of geotechnical, structural, and environmental monitoring systems.
- Work with instruments for measuring deformation, settlement, tilt, cracks, water levels, pressure, strain, and other engineering parameters.
- Perform diagnostics, service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of installed systems.
- Check the quality and reliability of collected data and support the analysis of monitoring results.
- Prepare installation protocols, service reports, photo documentation, and technical records.
- Communicate with clients, designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Participate in site inspections, technical assessments, and preparation of monitoring solutions.
Requirements
- University degree in geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, transport infrastructure, geodesy, mining engineering, automation, electronics, instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Practical field experience in construction, geotechnical works, surveying, infrastructure, mining, technical service, or engineering projects.
- Ability to read and work with technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Good technical understanding and willingness to work with specialized monitoring equipment.
- English language skills sufficient for working with technical documentation.
- Good computer literacy.
- Driving license, category B.
- Willingness to travel and work on different sites and countries.
Advantages
- Experience in geotechnical or structural monitoring.
- Experience with inclinometers, piezometers, extensometers, strain gauges, tiltmeters, crack meters, load cells, data loggers, or other measurement systems.
- Experience with monitoring of dams, landslides, tunnels, bridges, mines, excavations, or large infrastructure sites.
- Experience with communication systems such as GSM/LTE, radio, LoRa,NB, RF, Ethernet, Modbus, or other industrial protocols.
- Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, specialized monitoring software, or data visualization systems.
- Experience in service, maintenance, and diagnostics of technical equipment.
