CESI is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer for its Concord, NC office to assess and analyze the ground on which buildings and other structures will be built.

Job Snapshot:
- Geotechnical data reduction, analysis, and field work for commercial and residential projects.
- Assist with project management and reporting.
- Assist in developing the scope of work for routine projects.
- Site and material characterization.
- Seismic site class evaluations.
- Settlement and slope stability analysis.
- Grade and quality evaluations.
- Assist in preparation of technical reports that document investigations, analyses, facility designs.
- Assist in preparation of project design packages including technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Consult with clients and maintain work relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering
- North Carolina PE or EIT or ability to acquire within a year
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
