Rockville Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a motivated and talented Graph Database Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing graph database solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of graph data modelling, query optimization, and database performance tuning. The candidate will work closely with development and data engineering teams to build scalable graph-based applications and data platforms.
This a Full time onsite role in Gulberg Greens Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain graph database solutions.
- Create and optimize graph data models based on business requirements.
- Develop and execute graph database queries and traversals.
- Monitor and improve graph database performance and scalability.
- Integrate graph databases with backend applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Perform data migration from relational or NoSQL databases to graph databases.
- Troubleshoot database issues and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and architects on solution design.
- Document database architecture, data models, and technical procedures.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.
Required skills & Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with graph databases.
- Experience with graph database platforms such as, Neo4j , Amazon Neptune , TigerGraph, JanusGraph.
- Strong knowledge of graph data modeling concepts.
- Experience writing graph queries using Cypher, Gremlin, SPARQL, or similar query languages.
- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and backend integration.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
