This mid-level role focuses on preparing generator interconnection applications and conducting rigorous power system studies. Leverage your knowledge of various ISOs and your experience in software such as PSS/E for modelling and analysis. Collaborate with clients to provide insight on system impacts, ensuring adherence to stringent operational requirements for both renewable and conventional energy generation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop generator interconnection applications and compliance models
• Analyze ISO feasibility and system impact studies
• Execute power system studies, including thermal and transient analyses
• Conduct advanced grid studies for diverse generation scenarios
• Guide teams in implementing automation and AI in engineering tasks
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BS or MS)
• Over 3 years of relevant engineering experience
• Familiarity with ISOs like PJM, CAISO, and ERCOT
• Excellent communication and technical report skills
• Proven project planning and leadership capabilities
