Role Description
The Head of Ecosystem Architecture will define and lead the end-to-end architecture strategy across all company verticals, including ERP, AI/ML, Data & Analytics, and Cybersecurity.
This role is responsible for building a unified, scalable, and reusable ecosystem architecture that powers:
– Internal platforms
– Client-facing solutions
– Commercial products
The role ensures that all offerings-across industries such as manufacturing, energy, and logistics are built on a consistent, modular, and future-ready architecture.
The ideal candidate combines deep architectural expertise, systems thinking, and strong execution capability, with the ability to design for Pakistan's infrastructure realities and global scalability.
Responsibilities
Enterprise & Platform Architecture Leadership
Define the company-wide architecture vision and blueprint
Design scalable architectures across:
– Cloud platforms
– Edge/IoT systems
– AI/ML pipelines
– Data platforms
– Cybersecurity layers
Establish standards for microservices, APIs, and distributed systems and ensure interoperability across all internal platforms and verticals
Balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Drive creation of shared platforms and reusable components across:
– AI/ML
– Data engineering
– Security
Enable product teams to build on common architectural foundations
Define modular architectures that allow rapid solution – product transition
Ensure consistency across internally built and client-delivered systems
Multi-Vertical Solution Architecture (Client-Facing)
Define / review reference architectures for client solutions across Industrial AI deployments, data modernization programs, and Cybersecurity implementations
Support solution design for enterprise clients and RFPs
Ensure all client solutions align with core platform architecture
Standardize reusable architectural patterns across projects
IT/OT Convergence & Industrial Architecture
Lead architecture for IT and OT (Operational Technology) integration
Design systems for:
– IoT/sensor data ingestion
– Edge computing
– Real-time industrial analytics
Address constraints such as:
– Low bandwidth
– Legacy systems
Fragmented infrastructure (common in Pakistan and regional markets)
Governance, Standards & Quality Assurance
Establish architecture governance frameworks and review processes
Define coding, integration, and deployment standards
Ensure compliance with global best practices and industry frameworks
Conduct architecture reviews across all internal and client projects
Strategic & Commercial Contribution
Support pre-sales and solution positioning for enterprise clients
Contribute to faster deal closures through strong solution architecture
Build a central architecture function serving all verticals and mentor architects and senior engineers across teams
Promote a culture of engineering discipline and system thinking
Act as the technical authority across the organization
Requirements
- 12 to 18+ years in enterprise/platform architecture roles
- Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems
- Strong expertise in:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Microservices and API architectures
- Event-driven systems
- Experience integrating AI/ML, data platforms, and enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of system scalability and performance
- Experience in industrial systems, IoT, or edge computing
- Background in consulting, system integration, or multi-client environments
- Familiarity with OT/ICS architectures
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments
- Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF)
