About Compone
Compone develops circular products made from recycled composites, including materials recovered from wind turbine blades, trains, and boats.
Over the past year, we have brought our first product to market and built the first version of our production line.
Now we want to move forward. Faster. Bigger. Better.
That is why we are not looking for someone to step into a standard role. We are looking for someone who wants to build the next phase of Compone together with us.
The role
In your role you will take ownership of our technical development and production scale-up.
At the core, you will:
- Run and improve our current production process.
- Coordinate suppliers and technical development.
- Scale production from approximately 500 to 3,000 tonnes per year.
- Help build towards a future factory with a capacity of 10,000–15,000 tonnes per year.
You will work closely with the founders and have a major influence on the technical direction of the company.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, for example in mechanical engineering, and a few years of experience in production, engineering, or industrial scale-up.
Above all, you get energy from building something from the ground up. You are practical, take ownership, and enjoy turning technical challenges into solutions that work in the real world. You do not need a finished playbook. You enjoy creating structure while building, testing, and improving along the way.
Experience with machinery, production lines, process optimisation, manufacturing, or composite materials is a strong advantage.
