Role Description
We are seeking a HSE Manager to lead, develop, implement, and continuously improve the Project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System in compliance with ADOSH regulations. The HSE Manager is responsible for promoting a proactive safety culture, preventing workplace incidents, protecting personnel and the environment, and ensuring the project achieves its HSE objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- HSE Management System: Develop, implement, and maintain the project's HSE management system in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment & Control: Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure effective control measures are implemented.
- Training & Awareness: Deliver HSE inductions, training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs to employees and subcontractors.
- Monitoring & Compliance: Conduct site inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with HSE procedures and legal requirements.
- Incident Management: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Environmental Management: Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare periodic reports on HSE performance and compliance.
- Leadership & Communication: Lead the HSE team and provide professional guidance to project management, employees, and stakeholders on HSE matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent related field.
- Minimum 15 years of HSE experience
- Strong knowledge of ADOSH requirements, UAE HSE regulations, and HSE management systems.
