Position: Hydrogeologist for Tatham Engineering
Join Tatham’s Hydrogeology and Geoenvironmental group in Guelph, Ottawa, Collingwood, or Barrie as a Hydrogeologist. Lead diverse investigations and manage projects in multiple fields while supporting junior staff.
This role involves overseeing hydrogeological and geoenvironmental assessments essential for various projects, including brownfield redevelopment and dewatering studies. As a Project Manager, you will contribute to business development and ensure all investigations meet compliance standards while mentoring junior personnel to foster growth in expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise field programs including borehole drilling and monitoring well installation
• Design hydrogeological assessments for land development and approvals
• Complete geoenvironmental assessments, including Phase One/Two Environmental Assessments
• Analyze groundwater and soil chemistry data for project support
• Assist in mentoring junior staff and developing project opportunities
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Geoscience or Civil/Environmental Engineering
• Minimum five years of consulting experience in hydrogeology
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Competency in MS Office and report writing
• Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License
