Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking to hire a I&C and SCADA Engineer based in Basra for an – on site position.
Skills And Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of SCADA, DCS, PLC, and plant control systems.
- Ensure correct integration of inverters, transformers, weather stations, protection relays, and metering devices with plant SCADA.
- Prepare and review I&C design documents, logic diagrams, communication protocols, and control philosophy.
- Supervise and witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for I&C systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant performance through SCADA and monitoring platforms.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and utility/grid operators for I&C system compliance and grid code requirements.
- Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and reliable communication across the control system network
