The Permanent Investigator is responsible for executing and managing technical investigation operations in industrial incidents with the aim of identifying root causes and contributing factors, analyzing technical, organizational, and behavioral failure aspects, issuing neutral professional investigation reports that support decision-making, contributing to preventing incident recurrence, raising compliance levels, protecting lives and property, and improving the safety and sustainability of the industrial environment.
A. Technical Responsibilities :
• Execute field and desk investigations in industrial incidents in accordance with approved methodologies. •
Gather and analyze technical evidence (mechanical, electrical, chemical, operational) and link it to the sequence of events.
• Analyze safety and risk management systems and identify technical and organizational failure points.
• Prepare detailed technical investigation reports containing root causes and corrective and preventive recommendations.
• Document lessons learned and feed them into incident databases for continuous improvement. B. Organizational & Coordination Responsibilities :
• Coordinate with investigation teams, operations, and relevant parties during investigations.
• Support the development of corrective procedures and follow up on their implementation in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Contribute to analyzing recurring trends in incidents and submitting periodic analytical reports. • Maintain full professional independence and neutrality throughout all investigation phases.
C. Quality & Improvement Responsibilities
• Contribute to improving approved investigation methodologies and tools.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and raise the maturity level of technical investigations.
A. Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Mechanics, Electrical, Chemistry, Industrial).
• Professional certifications specialized in safety and investigation in incidents: NEBOSH / CFI2 / CFI1 or equivalent.
B. Experience
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in technical investigation of industrial incidents, occupational safety, or risk management.
• Proven experience in applying root cause analysis methodologies.
