RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participating in the design and engineering of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of control strategies, logic diagrams, and control systems using PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Preparation of Instrument List, IO summary and cabling requirements and scope matrix will be your responsibility when procurement is required for the IC&A scope.
- To liaise with client(s), other engineering disciplines and department for the necessary interface control and coordination to attain the assigned objectives with the desired results.
- To prepare and review the Bill of Materials (BOM) as per clients’ specifications and industry Oil and Gas standards / regulations.
- Leading and supervising commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Preparation of datasheets for field instruments, on/off valves and control valves.
- Preparation of instrument cable routing and developing instrument cable schedule
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years working experience in electrical & instrumentation commissioning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applicable software programs.
- Experience with control system programming and software tools such as PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD.
- Familiar with E3D / SP3D software
- Know how to use / operate Navisworks
- Familiar with E&I fabrication drawings
- Knowledgeable in plant instruments / electrical equipment.
- Familiar with field instruments installation, setting and commissioning
