About the Role
As an Integration Engineer, you will work at the intersection of power systems engineering, data integration, and customer delivery.
You will help Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and utilities integrate and manage network model data across SCADA/EMS, GIS, SAP, planning tools, and reporting platforms. Working closely with customers and product teams, you will design, build, and maintain integrations into our Network Model Management (NMM) platform.
Your Responsibilities
• Analyse customer data sources and map them to the CIM data model
• Design and implement data migrations and system integrations
• Integrate the NMM platform with SCADA/EMS, GIS, SAP, Power BI, and other utility systems
• Build and maintain integrations with PSS®E, PowerFactory, pandapower, and other power system tools
• Support ENTSO-E CGMES-based network model exchange processes
• Define and implement data quality and validation checks
• Create validation reports and dashboards for customer onboarding
• Develop integration scripts and automation workflows using C# and/or Python
• Utilize the NMM Web API to connect external systems efficiently and securely
• Collaborate with customers, product teams, and software engineers to deliver integration solutions
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialisation in Power Systems or equivalent technical experience
• Good understanding of CIM — classes, profiles, and RDF/XML serialization is a strong plus
• Practical experience with at least one power systems analysis tool: PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSS®NETOMAC, PSCAD, or similar
• Programming experience in C#, Python and/or equivalent — able to write clean scripts and automation solutions
• Ability to read, understand, and work with structured data: SQL, XML, JSON, CSV, Excel
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data mapping, schema comparison, and data quality analysis
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customer technical teams
Nice to Have
• Experience with SAP PM/AM or Maximo data structures
• Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, Smallworld)
• Experience with SCADA/EMS systems (ABB, Siemens, GE)
• Experience with Power BI data modelling or REST API connectors
• Familiarity with ENTSO-E CGMES exchange processes
• Experience with REST APIs and HTTP-based integrations
• Familiarity with Git version control
