Key Responsibilities
As a Senior M&E Site Engineer (Mechanical), you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical systems installation and ensuring successful project execution from construction through commissioning.
Main Duties
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure all M&E works, comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation before implementation.
- Develop and monitor weekly/monthly work plans to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Perform quantity take-offs and coordinate material procurement requirements.
- Conduct internal quality inspections and coordinate with consultants and clients during inspections, testing, and handover processes (RFI process).
- Work closely with Civil, Structural, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design clashes and construction issues.
- Prepare project-related documents, meeting materials, technical submissions, and reports.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in M&E construction projects.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, or high-rise building projects is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM is a significant advantage.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
- Solid understanding of local and international construction standards and codes (TCVN, NFPA, etc.).
- Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate complex technical drawings and specifications.
Language
- Intermediate English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in technical discussions and documentation.
Preferred
- Valid Site Supervisor Certificate or Professional Practice Certificate (Grade II or above).
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills in a construction site environment.
