SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Automation Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in industrial automation, process control, PLC programming, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and commissioning activities.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation and control systems.
  • Support PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming and configuration activities.
  • Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and start-up support.
  • Assist with control panel design and hardware configuration.
  • Prepare technical documentation, engineering drawings, and project reports.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Provide technical assistance during installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years' experience in automation, industrial control systems, or a related engineering environment.
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming and industrial automation principles.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI platforms, sensors, instrumentation, and industrial communication networks.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
