Role Description
A junior precision air conditioning mechanical engineer, installs, and maintains HVAC systems, especially those requiring precise temperature and humidity control, in specialized environments like data centers. They support client with technical tasks, create detailed drawings, conduct calculations, and ensure systems meet stringent quality and safety standards. The role typically involves assisting with system design, fabrication, testing, and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
– Assisting in Design and Installation: You'll help design, select, and install precision air conditioning units and associated mechanical systems.
– Maintenance and Servicing: You'll be responsible for the upkeep and repair of these systems, which are crucial for continuous operation.
– Technical Support: You'll provide technical assistance to senior engineers and clients.
– System Performance: You may conduct calculations and prepare reports to ensure systems meet specifications and function effectively.
– Troubleshooting: You will assist in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical problems within HVAC systems.
– Quality and Safety: You'll ensure all designs and installations adhere to industry quality and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications
– A mechanical engineering diploma or equivalent experience with minimum 1 year of experience in this field
– Preferred candidates with hands-on experience in air conditioning systems and their operation, particularly the refrigerant cycle.
– Practical skills in mechanical servicing and troubleshooting were desirable
– Proficiency with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD is an option.
– Ability to conduct engineering calculations and prepare reports.
