Are you a passionate young Mechanical Engineer looking to launch your career in heavy industrial machinery design?
Our client, a respected and innovative manufacturer in the air quality processing industry, is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the design and development of custom-engineered industrial equipment while receiving structured mentorship and training.
You’ll work on large-scale industrial centrifugal fans, axial fans, and related heavy machinery used by clients across South Africa and internationally.

Minimum Requirements
- BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0–3 years’ experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Proficiency in CAD/mechanical design software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn
Advantageous Experience
- Exposure to industrial machinery or heavy equipment design
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
- Experience with industrial fans, rotating equipment, or related systems
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer technical requirements into practical engineering designs
- Assist in the design and development of custom industrial machinery
- Collaborate with management, production teams, and clients
- Support project execution while ensuring quality and deadlines are met
- Contribute to continuous improvement and new business opportunities
