Lead, Civil Engineering Jobs in Vancouver, Canada at RAM
RAM Consulting is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role within a collaborative engineering practice while contributing to some of Western Canada’s most important infrastructure projects.
We’re looking for an experienced P.Eng. who enjoys combining technical expertise, project delivery, client engagement, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of Civil Engineers and Engineers-in-Training
- Act as Engineer of Record on municipal infrastructure, transportation, utility, and land development projects
- Provide technical leadership throughout project planning, design, and delivery
- Interface directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide engineering solutions
- Complete field reviews, site assessments, and engineering evaluations as required
- Prepare and review civil engineering designs, reports, construction packages, and cost estimates
- Support proposal development and project pursuits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects
- Review, sign, and seal Issued for Construction (IFC) design packages
- Perform analysis and modelling using Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and PCSWMM
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC and/or APEGA
- 10+ years of experience delivering infrastructure, transportation, municipal, utility, or land development projects
- Experience acting as Engineer of Record and leading technical project delivery
- Strong technical writing, communication, and client management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
- Experience with stormwater design preferred
- Hydraulic modelling experience considered an asset
