Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Practical experience with DBT for data transformation and modelling.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and data-architecture concepts.
- Hands-on experience developing ETL and ELT pipelines.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server tools such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Master Data Services.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Synapse and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of tools such as FiveTran, Dataiku, and Collibra will be an advantage.
- Programming experience in Python or C#.
- Experience supporting Power BI and enterprise analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of GDPR and related data-protection requirements.
- Insurance-domain knowledge is required.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex technical requirements and multiple priorities.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering reliable data solutions.
