Field Testing Supervisor

A construction services firm is seeking a Field Testing Supervisor to lead quality assurance activities on a large-scale infrastructure project. This role combines hands-on materials testing with team leadership, client interaction, and day-to-day field coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise field technicians and oversee daily testing operations
- Perform testing of concrete, soil, aggregate, and asphalt materials in accordance with project requirements
- Review field data, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison for project stakeholders and internal teams
- Coordinate work assignments, safety compliance, and personnel scheduling
- Communicate project updates, testing results, and field concerns to management
- Interpret construction plans and specifications to support inspection activities
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure adherence to established procedures
Qualifications:
- Background in construction materials testing or quality control
- Experience leading field personnel and coordinating project activities
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet site access requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- ACI Concrete Field Testing certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire) preferred
