Role Overview: The Lean Manufacturing Analyst is responsible for analyzing manufacturing processes to establish, maintain, and audit labor standards, standard times, and productivity metrics. This role conducts time and motion studies, reviews production videos, and evaluates operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. The position supports continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing principles and data-driven analysis to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.

Functions:

  • Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities to establish standard labor times.
  • Review production videos and manufacturing workflows to evaluate process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit labor standards and productivity benchmarks.
  • Analyze operational and productivity data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and process bottlenecks.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Identify waste and non-value-added activities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams to improve process performance and workforce utilization.
  • Assist in the development of standard work procedures and process documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations based on analysis findings.
  • Monitor adherence to labor standards and support ongoing process optimization efforts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, industrial engineering, or production operations.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience conducting time studies, motion studies, labor standards analysis, or productivity measurement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
