🚀 About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Manager/Team Leader, Calibration to lead our laboratory operations and elevate our calibration standards. This role is ideal for someone passionate about metrology, quality, and continuous improvement, with strong leadership capabilities.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the calibration laboratory to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- To liaise with customer related to calibration matters and improvement action related to customer complaint.
- Manage and resolve non-conformances arising from daily operations.
- Review and approve calibration methods, results, reports, and measurement uncertainty (MU) application.
- Develop, validate, and verify calibration methods (standard and non-standard).
- Ensure equipment calibration, traceability to SI units, and fitness for use.
- Effectively delegate tasks and lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in calibration methods and processes.
- To ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 & SAMM requirements (Accreditation Policy, Accreditation Circular, SAMM policy, SAMM Circular, etc) for all laboratory activities.
- Plan and execute annual calibration strategies, including scope expansion initiatives.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Mechanical) with Second Upper/First Class Honours from a reputable university.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong planning and execution abilities

- Experience as an Approved Signatory (Electrical / Pressure / Temperature scope)
- Prior experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory
