Join our Singapore team in a hands-on manufacturing leadership role with strategic oversight of CMO performance, quality, timelines, and operational risk. You’ll stay close to day-to-day execution while shaping how external manufacturing is planned, delivered, escalated, and improved across internal teams and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs).

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide hands-on oversight of day-to-day manufacturing operations with CMO partners, ensuring execution stays aligned to quality, supply, and business priorities
  • Troubleshoot process issues with engineers and cross-functional teams while identifying broader trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead or support deviations, investigations (OOS), CAPAs, and change control activities with a focus on timely, practical, and compliant resolution
  • Contribute to technology transfer, process improvements, and CMO performance initiatives that strengthen manufacturing delivery overtime
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering
  • Monitor timelines, track progress, anticipate operational risks, and escalate issues with clear recommendations and ownership

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in pharma or biotech manufacturing, ideally with direct exposure to external manufacturing, biologics, drug substance, or drug product operations
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP, regulated manufacturing environments, deviation investigations, CAPAs, change control, and quality systems
  • Experience partnering with CMOs or external manufacturing partners, with confidence influencing outcomes without direct line authority
  • A hands-on operator who can troubleshoot technical and operational issues while also identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Clear communicator with strong ownership, judgement, and the ability to align Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and external partners around practical solutions
  • Ability to operate in the detail while thinking strategically about manufacturing performance, partner management, supply reliability, and long-term operational outcomes

Additional requirement

Incumbent is expected to attend CMO site out of hours approximately once per week on average, depending on operational needs
