Overview
Responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment of the manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.
Your Role
- Provide technical support to the project team, including DFM for part, tool design and material recommendations.
- Establish and control the budget for new product introduction, sustaining and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing methods, processes and equipment.
- Drive activities related to sustaining and improving process yield, product design changes, cycle time improvement, cost, and safety.
- Collect and analyze factory data, validate and determine priorities and action plans based on the results for production.
- Lead tooling troubleshooting, process optimization and defect resolution for both dimensional and cosmetic improvement.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ensure that the molds produced are designed for longevity and reliability, with the highest standards for ease of service and maintenance of molds.
- Actively reduce production loss due to tooling and molding quality issues through proactive maintenance management techniques.
- Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two‑way communication and teamwork.
You’re the Right Fit If
- Possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Plastic Tooling & Molding Technology or equivalent.
- Have 7 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in plastic injection molding industry for thermoplastic, LSR, two‑shot molding and ISBM.
- Know ISO 9001 quality management systems; ISO 13485 preferred.
- Have a quality mindset and familiarity with risk assessment tools such as FMEA.
- Possess strong communication, technical analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Have basic knowledge of UG‑NX10 or Solid Works, PLC and automation equipment.
Working Arrangements
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office‑based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week.
On‑site roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
