About the Role
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will drive operational excellence by optimizing production systems and enhancing equipment reliability. You will play a pivotal role in designing innovative solutions that improve throughput, reduce waste, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production yields.
- Design, install, and configure manufacturing systems to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process non-conformances.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), PFMEA documentation, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Utilize Lean manufacturing methodologies to minimize changeover times and optimize production capacity.
- Manage engineering projects from conceptualization through successful implementation.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols and 5S workplace organization standards.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing and process optimization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across departments.
Preferred Skills
- Extensive experience with Blown Film Extrusion processes.
- Background in food and beverage manufacturing environments.
- Advanced knowledge of error-proofing methodologies and quality management systems.
