In this role reporting to the Production Manager, you will optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring top-notch quality and performance. Your focus will revolve around cost performance, capacity increases, and supporting product development. Collaborate with Operations and R&D while leading continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean/Six Sigma practices, to elevate efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive process improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Support new product development and upgrades
• Validate processes and maintain accurate BOMs
• Lead safety assessments and contractor oversight
• Promote ergonomic and process design improvements
Requirements:
• 3-5 years engineering experience in food manufacturing
• College-level Engineering or Technologist diploma
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
• Strong problem-solving skills
