Job Description
To perform assembly of valves in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity targets are met.
Job Description
- Assemble valve components according to approved work instructions, drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Perform torqueing, fitting, alignment, and basic mechanical adjustments using hand and power tools.
- Conduct in-process checks to ensure correct assembly and functionality.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow all quality procedures, including ISO / internal quality standards.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming parts or assemblies
- Comply with all safety rules, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in line with 5S practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
- Prior experience in mechanical assembly, valve assembly, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with hands-on technical skills may be considered.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and work instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
