Woolpert is seeking a Hydrographic Survey Specialist to engage with our diverse Hydrographic Survey team.
This role offers significant field and travel opportunities primarily around the San Francisco Bay Area. Your expertise in both hydrographic surveying and vessel operations will be key in conducting essential marine construction and navigational charting surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute multibeam and single-beam hydrographic surveys
• Lead GNSS and terrestrial LiDAR surveys
• Manage survey vessel operations and logistics
• Process survey data using advanced software
• Collaborate on marine project planning and execution
Requirements:
• Degree in geomatics, marine science, or relevant discipline
• Experience with vessel operations and marine surveys
• Ability to travel approximately 100 days per year
• Self-motivated with strong curiosity for problem solving
• Familiarity with hydrographic survey programs preferred
