Summary: Seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in Materials Science to drive product development, process control, and continuous improvement in a GMP environment.
- Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or related)
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of PET and Polypropylene
- Experience in packaging development
- Proficient with MS Office tools; experience with ERP & QMS systems
- Preferred Skills:
- Extrusion experience (preferable “sheet extrusion”)
- Responsibilities:
- Devise plans to qualify new products and materials
- Support capital equipment projects and train production personnel
- Analyze trends for process control and troubleshoot issues
- Identify improvement opportunities using Lean and Six Sigma tools
- Coordinate product design and tooling to meet deadlines
