Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components, including pumps, valves, and piping, of large skid-mounted pump packages while adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Interpret blueprints to guide the assembly process and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Utilize various hand tools effectively to assemble large mechanical equipment, maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Collaborate with team members to address challenges during the assembly process and implement solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with assembling skid packages, specifically in the oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and certifications such as OSHA or equivalent safety training.
- Strong mechanical assembly skills with a focus on large mechanical equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints accurately to guide assembly tasks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to mechanical assembly.
