A well-established company in the East rand is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer from the manufacturing industry.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirement
- Matric
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- AutoCAD experience
- Inventor 3D experience
- Previous experience in a similar industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Create and update 3D models and drawings in Inventor 3D
- Complete designs and issue customer approval, assembly, and manufacturing drawings
- Prepare Manufacturing Instructions (MI’s) and procurement drawings for contract-specific equipment
- Read and interpret customer specifications and apply them to designs
- Maintain and update contract and job drawing files
- Liaise with sales, engineering, purchasing, production, and quality departments to ensure project accuracy and delivery
- Assist sales with technical queries, drawings and mechanical details
