Job Description:
Mechanical Design Engineer | CAD

Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and test hardware systems
- Perform FEA (structural, thermal, vibration) and tolerance analysis
- Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software teams
- Use hand tools, 3D printers, and fabrication methods for quick builds
- Drive projects from concept to execution, often juggling multiple priorities
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with Creo or similar CAD tools (Solid Works a plus)
- Ability to code in Python
- Has solid understanding of mechatronics
- Mechanical analysis and hands-on prototyping experience
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- MS/PhD or 5+ years industry experience
- Robotics or electro-mechanical integration exposure
Knowledge of microcontrollers, motors, and circuit testing
