We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and plumbing system design for complex, technically challenging projects while working alongside a fully integrated team of architects and engineers.
What You'll Do
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects
- Perform engineering calculations, load analysis, ventilation studies, and equipment sizing
- Develop mechanical system concepts and technical solutions
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Coordinate with architectural, electrical, civil, and structural disciplines
- Participate in client meetings and design reviews
- Conduct site investigations and field assessments
- Support construction administration activities and respond to technical questions
- Mentor designers and junior staff as appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of HVAC or building systems design experience
- Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, mission-critical, or utility-related projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and applicable building codes
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
- EIT or PE preferred
