A growing industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its engineering team. This role focuses on the design of air compressor facilities and close collaboration with cross functional teams including sales, manufacturing, service, and project management.
What You’ll Do
- Design and partner with manufacturing to support production
- Conduct design reviews with safety, manufacturing, service, project management, and other stakeholders
- Detail components and release drawings to manufacturing for builds
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, serviceability, and cost
- Develop standardized procedures to streamline drawing production
- Create Bills of Material and coordinate with Operations for procurement
- Interface with suppliers to specify and improve equipment
- Work with sales and installation teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements
- Support manufacturing by troubleshooting production issues and optimizing designs
- Provide hands on support during manufacturing and installation as needed
- Perform additional duties as required
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment
- SolidWorks / AutoCAD
