Mechanical Engineer
Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract role.
Responsibilities
- Review and match the right equipment to the correct location within tools.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and multiple teams to determine project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews of mechanical systems and provide technical input.
- Check and confirm appropriate service flows through relevant references.
- Discuss issues and create Records of Discussion (ROD) with Trades, Design Team, IT, etc.
- Complete engineering reviews and EQAs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Perform peer reviews in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High level of experience with CAD and Excel.
- Understanding of mechanical specifications, facility data sheets, and vendor information.
- Ability to complete engineering reviews.
- Strong troubleshooting capability.
