Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support Simple Cycle Combustion Turbine generation projects across multiple phases of execution.
This role will work directly alongside engineering, construction, commissioning, and field execution teams supporting active gas turbine generation projects.
Location / Schedule
• Remote opportunity
• Travel to active project sites as needed
• Additional site travel may be required depending on project activity
Key Responsibilities
• Support combustion turbine projects through engineering, construction, commissioning, and turnover
• Coordinate with engineering teams, project management, OEMs, contractors, and field personnel
• Support rotating equipment, turbine systems, and balance-of-plant mechanical activities
• Assist with construction coordination, startup support, and operational readiness efforts
• Support technical issue resolution, project coordination, and field execution activities
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred
• 2–4+ years of experience supporting:
- Combustion turbine projects
- Rotating equipment
- Gas generation facilities
- Heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting construction, commissioning, startup, or field execution activities preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Flexible and willing to travel to project sites as needed
