Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for JCB excavators, forklifts, and related heavy equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Handle engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical system servicing.
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams for equipment maintenance schedules.
- Maintain service records, maintenance reports, and spare parts documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Support breakdown maintenance and emergency repair activities at site locations when required.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to minimize downtime.
- Travel to different project and client sites across Nepal for servicing, inspection, and technical support activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment servicing and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with JCB excavators, forklifts, and construction equipment.
- Good understanding of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read technical manuals and service documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in field environments.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Must be willing to travel frequently within Nepal for site visits and field service assignments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with construction, industrial, or heavy machinery companies.
- Knowledge of equipment diagnostics tools and maintenance software.
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
