We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA . Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay is $35.71 – 52.85/hr to start!!
- 1 – year assignment with the potential for extension based on the performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday
- Flowcell manufacturing, process development and assembly.
- Facilitate senior engineers in SolidWorks design.
- Dimensional and mechanical measurements, including data analysis and reporting.
- Surface metrology and characterization.
- Component testing, quality checks, and visual inspection.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline from an accredited institution, 0-2 years of professional experience required, but hands-on lab experience is preferred.
- Excellence in familiarity with SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or equivalent required.
- Hands-on mechanical/electromechanical instrumentation development background
