Title: Mechanical Engineering Associate

Successful candidates must be living in or near Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Burlington, Oakville, or Brantford, due to the full-time in‑office requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geothermal system analyses to support the sales and engineering processes.
- Develop concept‑level geothermal drawings to communicate design intent and space requirements.
- Participate in proposal, design, and client meetings with technical and non-technical teams.
- Enhance Excel-based engineering models used for system sizing and analysis.
- Prepare as‑built drawings, RFIs, and construction documentation using AutoCAD and other industry standard tools.
- Coordinate with external designers to support geothermal system integration.
- Review mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural drawings for proper system coordination.
- Conduct site inspections related to mechanical room hydronic system installations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC system design.
- Proven experience producing construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Experience performing mechanical room inspections and construction site visits.
- Working knowledge of heat pumps and condenser water systems.
- Proficient in Excel for technical calculations and analysis.

Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience, technical qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
