Kapture is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern, with hands on power tools experience.
Full-time Internship 4/8 weeks
Kapture has built a field-deployable carbon capture system that retrofits onto diesel generators. We are heading into TRL 6 field trials and we need an intern who wants to get their hands dirty building, testing, and iterating on hardware that is going to be deployed on real sites.
What you'll do:
You'll work directly with our engineering team at our Epping, VIC R&D facility on live development and testing work.
Your responsibilities:
1. Assembly of mechanical components.
2. 3D Design.
What we're looking for:
1. A student currently studying Mechanical Engineering (2nd year or above preferred) or recent Mechanical Engineering Graduates.
2. Comfortable in a workshop environment and experienced using power tools.
3. A problem-solver who moves fast and doesn't wait to be told what to do next
Bonus: experience with CAD (SolidWorks or similar) and fabrication.
