What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, including supervisors and team leads
- Manage staffing, project assignments, scheduling, and department resources
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards
- Oversee engineering processes, BIM standards, and quality control procedures
- Partner with project managers and sales throughout project planning and execution
- Support pre-construction efforts including system selection, constructibility reviews, code compliance, and risk evaluation
- Manage department budgets, performance reviews, and hiring efforts
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years leading engineering teams
- Strong understanding of engineering design, constructibility, and commercial building systems
- Experience managing engineering resources across multiple projects
- Familiarity with BIM and engineering quality standards
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
